The Sea of Cortez, known as the Gulf of California, is a breathtaking destination for scuba diving, snorkeling, and exploration. Each day you will awake at a different island to a beautiful sunrise. The best part of the Sea of Cortez is you never know what Mother Nature will bring our way. Dive and snorkel next to islands with beautiful fish in unheard-of numbers, turtles, rays, octopus, and eels. It’s a macro photographers dream with colorful nudibranchs, blennies and jawfish. Dives and snorkelers alike will enjoy the playful sea lions and a highlight of the trip is snorkeling with whale sharks.
Between dives you can relax or hike and explore remote uninhabited islets or even enjoy a kayak adventure. At night you can gaze at the Milky Way and watch for falling stars.
